What Happens During a Witness® Program? |
|||
Any church or community organization may schedule a Witness® Project of Harlem program. (Click here to find out how). Each Witness® program takes about 45 mintues to 1 hour. Every program begins with a spiritual devotion. Then, at least two of our Witness Role Models tell their story of breast or cervical cancer survival. One of our Lay Health Advisors then presents information about breast and cervical cancer risk, and teaches breast self-examination. There is then an opportuntiy to examine silicone breast models for lumps, read educational material, and ask our team members questions! |
